Mobility in early childhood and school education

Pupil and student mobility

This subsection covers national programmes, projects and/or incentives enabling pupils, students or trainees to undertake part of their studies in another country. It is explained where they build on or are inter-related with European programmes. Information is provided on: • The type of mobility • The Authorities responsible • Validation and recognition of foreign degrees or other qualifications, exams or courses obtained or completed abroad This information may be broken down according to education level.

Teacher mobility

This subsection explains national programmes, projects or initiatives for teachers and trainers enabling them to secure employment or participate in exchanges. Information is provided on: • The type of mobility • The Authorities responsible • Salary Agreements for this period • Recognition of experience abroad This information may be broken down according to education level.

Mobility in higher education

Pupil and student mobility

This subsection covers national programmes enabling pupils, students or trainees to undertake part of their studies in another country. It is explained where they build on or are inter-related with European programmes. Information is provided on: • The type of mobility • The Authorities responsible • Validation and recognition of foreign degrees or other qualifications, exams or courses obtained or completed abroad This information may be broken down according to education level.

Academic staff mobility

This subsection contained information on European and national programmes, projects and initiatives for academic staff (professors, researchers, assistants etc.) enabling them to secure employment or participate in exchanges abroad. Information is provided on: • National policy goals related to staff mobility • Type of mobility and exchanges • Staff groups eligible • Authorities responsible for programme coordination • Salary agreements, social security agreements etc. • Recognition of work experience • Monitoring-analysis of the impact of programmes

European, global and intercultural dimension in curriculum development

This part of the topic presents the policy initiatives or measures that have been implemented with the purpose of inserting the European, global and intercultural dimension in the curriculum and/or steering documents. The existing national programmes, projects and initiatives that aim to foster the teaching/learning of a foreign language when provided outside the curriculum framework and within the framework of learning mobility and partnerships or intercultural knowledge is also mentioned.

Partnerships and networks

This section indicates programmes, projects and initiatives that aim to establish and foster partnerships and network within education institutions settled abroad. Information is provided on: • Name of the programme/organisation and the role of the country concerned • Domains of cooperation and related activities in which the country mentioned is involved
