Pupils/students Assessment

The same rules apply to student assessment and student transfer as to other forms of secondary education. See chapter 6.3.

Within the framework of technical and vocational training, the school has a close relationship with the companies. In addition to the above-mentioned work placements, this close relationship is also substantiated by the presence of school-external jury members in the qualification examinations at the end of the sixth year. As a rule, this jury activity lasts throughout the year: the student work and the internships are not only followed closely by the teachers concerned, but also by the professional world.

It is important to have a continuity between the learning process at school and in the company, and the work placement lasting several weeks must meet precise criteria. The teacher accompanying the internship ensures the preparation, supervision and evaluation. He works with a staff member of the company who is responsible for the student at the placement. The internship is subject to ongoing evaluation in various areas and according to criteria that are determined in advance. It is a formative evaluation. At the end of the internship a balance sheet is prepared (normative evaluation).
