7.2. FIRST CYCLE PROGRAMS

Macedonian higher education is provided through academic and higher vocational studies based on the accredited study programs. The first cycle of higher education includes academic (undergraduate studies) and professional (short -cycle and three-year vocational education) studies. Academic studies develop academic and vocational higher education qualifications of students to build academic and vocational careers, while vocational studies develop higher education qualifications in tune with the labor market demands and provide students with knowledge and skills to develop vocational careers.
