The issues of adult education in North Macedonia are regulated by the Law on Adult Education.

In accordance to Art. 21 of the Law, the training programs are implemented by teachers, professors, instructors in practical training and professional associates.

The aforementioned categories of education staff are required to complete a Special program for work with adults organized by the Adult Education Centre and to continuously attend professional development and career advancement programs and trainings.
