European, global and intercultural dimensions in curriculum development

The implication of the higher education institutions in making international networks/partnerships at European level and in using the institutional and academic partnerships, particularly for improving the PhD studies.

No. of participations to international networks: 398, from 56 institutions.

Total no. of international partnerships – 6,502 from 69 institutions.

Total no. of PhD theses elaborated in co-tutelage - 161 (from 29 institutions) – progress compared to the reports from Oct. 2013.

Partnerships and networks

The higher education institutions actively participate to partnerships and European networks.

In most cases, these partnerships are focused on the stimulation of the academic capacities of the partner organizations, scientific research, professional development, etc.

Encouraging the international inter-university partnerships, joint degree, double degree, multiple degree – type study programmes.
