The characteristics of management staff in adult education in the private sector vary according to the mission and organisation of the respective private education/training institution. 

Generally, management staff working in adult education and training is represented, in function of the size of the organization by:

• Manager

• Deputy Manager

• Training Coordinator. 

A particular staff category is represented by the experts in evaluation and certification in the adult vocational training system. They are involved in the process of coordinating the authorization of the centers for evaluating competences obtained in other ways than the formal ones, by the National Qualifications Authority.

The quality of expert in evaluation and certification is obtained through registration in the National register of competencies assessors professionals, evaluators and external evaluators certified, following the fulfillment of the criteria and following the evaluation and certification procedures organized by the NQA.

The centers of evaluation and certification of the competences obtained in other ways than the formal ones, use only professional competencies assessors registered in the Register.
