Mobility in Adult Education and Training

Iceland is an equal partner with full rights and obligations in the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) 2007-2013. The National Agency is run by Rannis - Icelandic Center for Research. Mobility of teachers and trainers is also made possible though the teachers unions in participation with the LLP National Agency.

Learner Mobility

Within the University of Iceland, the task of the The Icelandic Lifelong Learning Programme National Agency, was shared by two offices; the Research Liaison Office, which was responsible for Leonardo, and the Office of International Education, which was responsible for Comenius, Erasmus and Grundtvig. These offices were moved to Rannis-  Icelandic Center for Research in January 2013.

Teacher Mobility

As a part of the LLP, Icelandic teachers can go abroad for further education within their field of expertise.
