13.3Mobility in adult education and training

Learner mobility

  • The Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe  offers an online and interactive space to exchange, showcase, and promote best practices in adult education.
  • NORDPLUS Adult  aims at developing adult education through cooperation between institutions working in the area of adult education.
  • EEA and Norway Grants  aims to contribute towards reducing economic and social disparities in Europe and to strengthening bilateral relations between the 3 donor countries and the 15 beneficiary countries. Among the priorities are: “Enhancing the quality and relevance of education and training in the beneficiary countries at all levels of education”, “Cooperation and partnerships between education, research and the world of work”, “Traineeships, apprenticeships and work placements”,  “Improving adult participation in lifelong learning” and “Professional development of teachers”.
  • NORDPLUS Nordic Languages  aims to strengthen language comprehension in the Nordic countries and stimulate interest in Nordic languages, cultures and living conditions.

Teacher and trainer mobility

  • NORDPLUS Adult  is designed for organisations, institutions, associations and other bodies working with adult learning. The programme awards grants to cooperation projects, courses and work experience in other Nordic countries.
  • NORDPLUS Horizontal  is a cross- sectoral programme involving activities such as workshops, conferences, studies and innovative courses.
