Adult mobility is mainly offered by the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 1).
Adult learning broadly considered within Erasmus+ allows cooperation with research institutes, education centers, NGOs, associations, libraries, museums, cultural organisations, facilities for adult learners with special needs, enterprises, guidance and professional advisory bodies, public entities.
All Educators or professionals involved in formal, non formal or informal adult education, can develop skills and competences and strengthen knowledge of policies and practices of the European countries in the field of adult education by means of a mobility project. Applications for projects should be submitted by an organisation.
Erasmus+ includes the following options for staff in adult education: teaching activity in a partner organisations, including structured course, training events or job shadowing in a relevant organisation in another European country.
Another tool is provided. The Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE) is an online space for educators, trainers, researchers, policy makers to exchange, showcase, and promote methods of good practice in adult education Individuals involved in organising and delivering adult education may use this adult learning platform to share the latest developments, learn from each other and identify partners for Erasmus+ projects, find training activities and courses.
