Requirements for appointment

The Academic Delegate for Initial and Continuing Vocational Training (DAFPIC), an advisor to the Rector, participates in defining and implementing academic policy in the field of all vocational training in conjunction with all the officials concerned. He or she is appointed by the Minister for National Education, on the proposal of the rector of the academy, to a post of rector's adviser, until the date on which he or she ceases to be a rector's adviser.

The post is intended for high-level management staff, category A holders, belonging to the inspection, teaching and management bodies of the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Associative Life and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

Conditions of service

The career of the DAFPIC continues in his/her original body and he/she receives the salary for his/her grade. He/she receives an administrative allowance at an annual reference rate of €9,000.
