As of 2015, Serbia is a member of the eTwinning network, which enables schools from Serbia to participate in virtual projects with schools from other countries that are members of the network. This way, the teachers and pupils have the possibility of learning through virtual mobility. Moreover, one of the leading features of this platform for digital communication is the possibility of learning languages nd ICT skills. By the end of 2015, 443 Serbian schools and preschool institutions and 793 eTwinners with 297 projects have joined the network. 14 eTwinners got the National Quality Label for their projects, and 6 of them got the European Quality Label. So far, 12 workshops have been held for beginners, as well as two info days with 200 participants. eTwinners from Serbia participated in international seminars in Hamburg, Bratislava, Dubrovnik, Marseille and Ohrid.
Over 40 schools from Serbia have participated in the ACES programme/network. Academy of Central European Schools (ACES) is a programme initiated by the Vienna Intercultural Centre, supported by the Erste Foundation. The overall objective of the network is the development of international cooperation, the exchange of knowledge and the enhanced cultural dialogue between young people from the participating countries.
