Adult education teachers are persons who teach at primary and secondary schools for adults, as stated by the Law on the Education System Foundations and Law on Adult Education. Trainers are persons who, along with necessary initial education relevant to working in this field, possess competences relevant to the topic of the training delivered by them.

All other conditions of service (entry to the profession, professional status etc.) for adult education teachers working in primary and secondary education are the same as those for other teachers (see the section on Conditions of Service for Teachers Working in Early Childhood and School Education).
