Project Energy and Climate Workshop

The project "Energy and Climate Workshop" focuses in the area of vocational training in companies. It gives apprentices in Liechtenstein the unique opportunity to use their professional skills to develop energy-saving and sustainable projects. The apprentices implement their own projects in small groups and submit them for the national competition. 26 apprentices had planned and proportionally implemented innovative sustainability projects in their companies over the past months. In the first year, twelve teams of apprentices from four Liechtenstein companies and the Liechtenstein State Administration took part in the competition. The apprentices were able to develop or optimise products and processes in their companies that reduce CO2, promote energy efficiency or encourage employees to take measures against climate change in their everyday lives.
