Support measures for adult learners include counselling and financial support to the vulnerable and educationally disadvantaged groups of adult learners.
According to some Decisions of the Council of the Ministers the adult learners are supported with scholarship, payments and financial quotes for food in canteens and dormitories.[1]
In the academic year 2015-2016, about 5,500 students (September 2015) were registered in vocational schools, while about 17,500 persons were certified during the January - December 2015 period in public vocational training centers. In total, the number of VET beneficiaries (Education and Vocational Training) for 2015 was about 23,000.
In the academic year 2016 - 2017, approximately 6,200 pupils (September 2016) enrolled in vocational schools and during the period January - December 2016, in the public centers of vocational training were certified about 17,500 persons. In total, the number of VET beneficiaries (Education and Vocational Training) for 2016 was about 23,700.
As seen during this period (2014-2016) we have an increase of over 30% of the number of beneficiaries from VET. Through the reconstructions that are being done in many vocational schools and vocational training centers, the construction infrastructure for this category is being adapted. Also in cooperation with AKAFPK is working on adapting the curricula for them.
