Each higher education institution’s faculty has
- a study department, which provides students with study-related services and counselling,
- Erasmus mobility coordinator,
- library and information services,
- and other support services (e.g. career centre for students which helps students find and prepare for their future careers).
Each faculty has a coordinator for work with the disabled students appointed by the Dean. In case of interest in the study at the respective faculty it is appropriate prior to submitting application for study to contact the coordinator who provides information on possibilities and conditions at the respective faculty. The coordinator is a contact person who is responsible for problem-solving of the students with special education needs. The coordinator’s activity includes creation of equal conditions at admission examinations and problem-solution during the studies. He must see to that the teaching premises of the university are accessible to the disabled students, to cooperate at development of individual study programmes in such a way as to minimise consequences of the disabled students for being disadvantaged during their university education.
