Project BLUESS – Blueprints for Basic Skills Development in Slovakia

The project is implemented by the State Institute of Vocational Education (SK) with the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic and other Slovak and foreign partners. It is another step taken by the Slovak Republic in the implementation of the European Union Council’s recommendation (approved by the EU Council in December 2016 during Slovakia’s presidency of the Council of the EU) „Upskilling Pathways - New opportunities for adults“.

Project BLUESS (SK) will be implemented in years 2019-2020 with several foreign partners, namely with the European Association for the Education of Adults, Irish National Adult Learning Organisation and the European Basic Skills Network. The project has also several national partners, namely the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family (SK), Association of Adult Education Institutions in the Slovak Republic and Association for Career Guidance and Career Development (SK).
