2020

Skills workshops

Law 4692/2020 introduces in pre-primary (nipiagogeia), primary (dimotika) and secondary education, a pilot action titled «Skills workshops». The action involves   the introduction of new thematic cycles in pre-primary education and the compulsory curricula of primary education, on a trial basis. The aim is to strengthen the fostering of soft skills, life skills and digital and science skills to young pupils.

2019

Innovative structures

Law 4589/2019 establishes the following innovative structures:

  • The Averofeio Agri-food Technological Park of Thessaly, at the University of Thessaly.  Agro-ecological production activities are planned and conducted, in cooperation with the Averofeio Agricultural School.  The activities involve innovative scientific and technological data.
  • The “Evripos Technopolis”.  A Technopolis – Complex of Technology, Art and Culture is established in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the wider area of Chalcis.  Research actions that incorporate innovative research, cultural and developmental activity, are carried out.
